Question tag एक छोटा सा सवाल होता है जो हम वाक्य के अंत में लगाते हैं, ताकि हम सामने वाले से पुष्टि (confirmation) या जवाब पा सकें।

Simple Definition: A question tag is a short question added to the end of a sentence to confirm or check information.
Question tag वह छोटा सा सवाल होता है जो वाक्य के अंत में लगता है, जिससे सामने वाले से पुष्टि ली जा सके।

Structure (संरचना)

✅ **Affirmative Sentence + Negative Tag**
✅ **Negative Sentence + Affirmative Tag**

She is beautiful, isn't she?
वह सुंदर है, है ना?

He doesn't like tea, does he?
उसे चाय पसंद नहीं है, है ना?

Basic Rules (मुख्य नियम)

• Helping verb (is, are, was, has, will, can, etc.) से question tag बनता है।
• Main sentence affirmative हो तो tag negative होगा।
• Main sentence negative हो तो tag affirmative होगा।
• Pronoun का इस्तेमाल करें – Ram → he, Sita → she, etc.

Examples with Helping Verbs:

• You are coming, aren’t you?
• We have finished the work, haven’t we?
• She was late, wasn’t she?
• He won’t go, will he?
• They can swim, can’t they?

If There is No Helping Verb?

✅ Use do / does / did as helping verb.

He plays cricket, doesn’t he?
वह क्रिकेट खेलता है, है ना?

They went to school, didn’t they?
वे स्कूल गए थे, है ना?

Special Cases:

• I am → aren’t I?
• Let’s go → shall we?
• Don’t open the door → will you?

Examples with Hindi Translation:

You love me, don’t you?
तुम मुझसे प्यार करते हो, है ना?

She doesn't eat meat, does she?
वह मांस नहीं खाती, है ना?

I am your friend, aren’t I?
मैं तुम्हारा दोस्त हूँ, है ना?

Let’s go to the park, shall we?
चलो पार्क चलते हैं, ठीक है?
